I have always, always loved cloth. I came by it naturally. The women in my family sewed, knitted, crocheted, tatted, drew fashion illustrations, and farmed cotton. They were fiber to fabric kind of gals. They were strong and Southern and capable. I moved back to Arkansas after getting an MFA at Pratt Institute and and MS in Textiles at NC State. I worked as a CAD artist at a retailer here for six years, and I am now working as a freelance designer. I draw, paint, collage, and digitize to create patterns for textiles and all other surfaces.
I am also raising two boys with my amazingly loving wife in a quirky 100 year old home. We spend a lot of time digging with toy backhoes, building lego towers, painting dinosaurs, and reading about trains. The three of them are my loves and inspirations.
I am glad you found your way here and hope you will email or call. Best wishes!
